I couldn’t be prouder if I tried — Summer of Secrets is a historical fiction bestseller! The last couple of months have been a whirlwind: Summer of Secrets was published amidst much squealing and glass-clinking in the Scott house. It went on an extensive two-week blog tour and people have been saying such lovely and thoughtful things about it that I’m still quite bowled over by it all. AND — and this is the most amazing development ever, the Kindle eBook shot up to the bestseller list at #13 and the #1 bestseller slots in Historical Fiction, Historical Romance and Military Romance!
In UK, Australia and New Zealand, the paperback is available on Amazon, at Waterstones and loads of lovely independents. The eBook is on Amazon, Kobo and iBooks. There’s also an audiobook and this one’s especially close to my heart. There’s nothing quite like hearing your story read out loud, it is an incredibly moving experience and it makes you realise that your book is really, actually, physically there! The readers have done a brilliant job conveying Maddy and Chloe’s personalities and I can highly recommend it!
In Europe, the English edition is now available across the continent, but most of the translated editions won’t be published until next year (keep an eye on them here).
Readers in the US & Canada — My Mother’s Shadow is out and about (you can order the eBook and Paperback from any store or online) but Summer of Secrets is not yet available there. I keep checking with my publisher, though, and as soon as I know what is happening and when it’ll be available to purchase in the US, I will pass on the news.
If you know anyone who loves historical fiction, please spread the world, and if you’re read and fancied popping a review up on Amazon or wherever you purchased it, I would be eternally grateful. Reviews are the one single thing that help a book gain visibility and even one line or a few words would help immensely.

An absolute joy of a book! Explores the dynamics in families and comes together seamlessly with the past and present day. If you only read one book this year I recommend this one. Amazon Reviewer 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
